In this shop, sculpture works and accessories will no longer be treated as separate categories.
They all exist along the same sculptural line of thought and making.
Every work presented here is born from the mind of Kenichi Asano and created by the hands of Kenichi Asano.
The silver accessories previously offered in this shop will also, from now on, be produced exclusively as one-of-a-kind works and presented as art pieces.
Only a few pieces will be created each month, and new works will be added gradually.

The previous Shimenawa bangles are currently available only on Pinkoi as brass-combination models.

For me, sculpture and silver accessories are not separate forms of expression.
Until now, I have created sculptures of vessels for possession, and of figures inhabited by something beyond themselves, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
By crossing modern subcultures such as games, films, and manga with Japanese traditional culture, I have built a world uniquely my own.
The Shimenawa silver accessories are one way of bringing that world into everyday life.
Accessories are only one part of my overall practice.
From now on, I will also present my sculpture works here without borders, and deliver them through this space as well.
