Enshrining the Sacred — A Limited Edition Bangle Embodying the Spirit of Japan

"Ornamentation is never just decoration."

So says sculptor Kenichi Asanoya.
Since ancient times, adornments have been worn not only for their beauty, but as symbols of protection and boundary, serving to center the mind and guard the self.

This model commemorates the second anniversary of the brand. Inspired by the shimenawa, a sacred rope from Japanese mythology, it is constructed from 18K gold and platinum (Pt900) in a form that enshrines the sacred on your wrist—quietly, yet unmistakably.

■ Sculptural Beauty Rooted in Ritual

This piece reconstructs the traditional twisted structure of the shimenawa using three strands of 18K gold wire.
Each curve is modeled to 1/100mm precision, cast, and then meticulously polished by hand to create a surface that fuses elegant fluidity with tangible weight.

For added comfort, the underside is flat.
The connecting joints have been upgraded from traditional round to a sharp, angular form, evoking a more modern and refined aesthetic.

■ Paper Charms That Bring the Mind to Stillness

Suspended from the main body are two small charms inspired by shide, the zigzag-shaped paper streamers often seen at Shinto shrines as boundary markers.
Made of Pt900 platinum, these understated elements sway gently with movement, offering a quiet presence that aids in inner recalibration.

The connecting rings, also crafted from Pt900, are 0.6–0.7mm thick, designed to balance delicacy with durability for everyday wear.

■ A Display Stand That Evokes Sacred Space

Included with the bangle is a special display stand (not for sale) modeled after a traditional Shinto torii gate.
Placing the piece on this stand when not in use adds intention to the act of wearing—and removing—it, turning each gesture into a moment of mental realignment.

Let a corner of your daily life become a sacred space.
To own this piece is to transform your environment and your state of mind.

For easy maintenance, please use the silver polishing cloth, sold separately. When using the silver polishing cloth, gently rub the surface of the item to restore its shine. If you are concerned about stickiness due to sweat, etc., gently rinse with warm water and mild detergent.

*Please refrain from using a polishing cloth on the gold anklet as it will remove the gold plating.
