At Shinto shrines, people pass through the Chinowa to pray for purification, protection from misfortune, and good health. This pendant reinterprets that symbolic ring as a wearable piece of jewelry.

While it follows the familiar silhouette of a classic ring pendant, it incorporates the form of the Japanese Shimenawa sacred rope, resulting in a design that feels both familiar and entirely original.
