Shimenawa Bangle 2027 Model | Standard — Brass × Silver925
A bangle built from the rope, shide, and tassel elements seen in Japanese shimenawa. A brass rope paired with Silver925 shide and tassels — five charms sway quietly with the movement of your wrist, catching the light differently with every angle and gesture.
The Standard model is the series' baseline size — not as heavy as the Bold, not as delicate as the Delicate. It aims for the balance point: enough presence to stand on its own, while still easy to wear every day.
About the 2027 Model
The 2027 model increases the charm count from 4 to 5, following the real structure of shimenawa: an even number of shide, an odd number of tassels. The Standard model carries 2 shide and 3 tassels. Every charm now bears the maker's engraved signature mark on its reverse.
Background
This series began with a sculpture — an arm roughly 3 meters tall, exhibited at Shimogamo Shrine. This bangle reconstructs that large-scale sculptural image into a form that can be worn on your own wrist.

Before You Buy
Brass and Silver925 will shift in color and shine with use and time — please enjoy this patina as part of the material's character. Each piece is finished by hand individually, so the texture of the rope, the engraving, and the finish vary slightly from piece to piece. Forcing the bangle open wide or bending it strongly can cause deformation or damage — please handle it gently when putting it on or taking it off. If you have a metal allergy, please check the materials before purchasing. Damage to the jump rings connecting the charms is repaired free of charge for one year from purchase. Lost charms are repaired at the customer's expense.

For easy maintenance, please use the silver polishing cloth, sold separately. When using the silver polishing cloth, gently rub the surface of the item to restore its shine. If you are concerned about stickiness due to sweat, etc., gently rinse with warm water and mild detergent.
*Please refrain from using a polishing cloth on the gold anklet as it will remove the gold plating.
